1/2 a year! **With 5 month pics ;-)***

You are officially halfway through your first year!

Activities:

You are now sitting up with no help! (Sometimes you fall over.... and you MAY have fallen flat on your face last weekend but no worries, that block you were playing with broke your fall.... **Mommy fail!!***)
You now love playing with  your puppy dog Maverick. When you hear his footsteps you get all giddy and start giggling.

You are babbling a LOT! You love to go BahBahbahaBahBah... it's even more adorable when no sound comes out and you are still moving your mouth as if you are telling a whole story to us.

You found the light socket.... with your MOUTH! I was right there playing with you and saw that you had noticed the socket..... little did I know how fast you were.... All was good and a major accident was diverted~~ *mommy win...*

You absolutely love mommy and daddy's bed... before bath time you get to roll around with us around you trying to get you to crawl to one of us... it's definitely one of those fun family moments that we enjoy!

A few of your favorite play times:

"Piggies Unite!" That is when mommy takes your feet and have them clap together, you giggle every time.

"Peeka-boo" You are liking this one more and more, you get so quiet looking around when we hide :-)

Your favorite toy is the Activity Cube that you love twirling
Your favorite stuffed animal: Harold the T-Rex... that T-rex's tail is mighty tasty!
Your favorite singalong: Wheels on the bus

Favorite moments...
As I was nursing you, you put your hand on my forehead and started petting my face back and forth... at that moment I lost it completely and was overcome with the joy of being your mother.

Your daddy and I love putting you to bed together.... one of those nights as we were praying the Lords Prayer, you stuck your hand out to hold on to Daddys face.... You have since done that a few times and each time we feel your love and count our blessings to have such a caring and precious baby boy.

FOOD!
You are LOVING all these new foods! WE mash some up, and you also pick up some and can eat them directly. It's a lot of fun, your faves so far: Banana and sweet potato. Your least faves: Raspberries... we tried a couple of times... you are still not having it.

Drinking- You are drinking like a big boy straight out of a cup! No sippy cup needed for you! You love your big red crab cup
